All good things come to those who wait….at least that’s what I’m telling myself about not sharing these photos with you until today!
Last September, we were privileged to plan and design Victoria and Tom’s wedding celebration at Laketown Golf and Conference Center in Saugatuck, Michigan. Getting to help them bring their vision to life was such a treat, and I’m so happy with how everything came together.
Victoria really loves flowers, and wanted a lot of them! Our good friends at Modern Day Events and Floral stepped in to make her floral dreams a reality and they were stunning. I loved the color palette for this wedding, which featured bold purples accented with peaches, white, and gold. The flowers were garden party inspired and featured hydrangea, garden roses, hypericum berries and stock. Candles throughout the venue added just the right amount of elegance, while the gold containers lended a more formal feel.
Although the weather didn’t cooperate for their outdoor ceremony, we all worked together to bring the outdoors in. The boxwood wall we originally planned to use for an escort card display became the ceremony focal point with mounds of flowers placed on top. During cocktail hour, we spun the wall around to reveal the escort cards, just like it had been planned for months (and not hours!).
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, and a huge thank you to BG Photography Studios for capturing everything so beautifully!
